Jade Screen teapills (Yu Ping Feng Wan) and Gan Mao Ling tablets are Chinese herbal supplements often used during this time of year for optimal immune support.
Jade Screen teapills are traditionally used for "lowered immunity leading to recurrent colds and fatigue". It is good for "pediatric cold, cough, chronic hayfever allergies and chronic nasal discharge of white or clear mucus". It is also recommended in cases of chronic diseases where one may experience lowered immunity. It is taken preventatively for the common cold. (Fratkin p. 66).
Gan Mao Ling tablets are recommended for "the early stages of the common cold or flu with the dominant symptoms of sore aching shoulders and neck, headache, fever, itchy eyes, sore throat, and early stage cough" (Fratkin p. 11).

Chuan Xin Lian for signs of Heat toxins such as "viral tonsilitis, viral hepatitis, herpes simplex and zoster, common cold, and bacterial infections causing sore throat, tonsilitis, sinusitis, ear infections, gum infections, and bronchitis". (Fratkin p. 12).
Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien for early stage of common cold or flu with symptoms of "sore throat, low fever, thirst, aching shoulders and neck, headache, swollen glands, or dry cough. Also useful in pediatric viral diseases such as chickenpox, rubella, and measles. Traditionally used within the first 12 to 24 hours of the earliest symptoms of sore throat or general aching". (Fratkin p. 8).
